Finding the Right Type of Vaping Juice or Liquid for You

Finding the Right Type of Vaping Juice or Liquid for You

When you are just beginning to give vaping a try, you may find yourself overwhelmed with all of the different options that seem to be out there. Not only are there different styles of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, but there are a multitude of choices when it comes to e liquid and e juice. The challenge can be to sift through them all to find those one or two options that are your vaping go-to's when you need it. Get to know a bit more about the different types of vaping liquids so that you can find a few options that you really love.

The PG vs VG Debate

There are two primary categories of e juice that you will find on the market. They are labeled as either PG or VG. These two acronyms actually stand for what the e juice is made out of. PG stands for propylene glycol. On the other hand, VG stands for vegetable glycerin. These two different substances give different vaping experiences to users.

PG e juices are less viscous that their VG counterparts. A liquid that is more viscous is thicker and more sticky than non-viscous fluids. This means that PG e juices are less likely to stick to the inside of your vaping device and will be easier to clean up and use.

However, if you are looking for an all-natural vaping e juice, then VG is the way to go. Vegetable glycerin comes directly from plants (like coconut, soy, and the like). Because it is an all-natural substance, there is virually no risk that a vape user will have an allergic reaction to this type of e juice. On the other hand, there have been cases (albeit rare) in which PG e juices have caused allergic reactions.

All in all, because PG liquid is thinner, it can usually create more vapor and more closely resembles actual cigarette smoke. However, if you are prone to allergies to foods, medications, or chemical substances (organic or not), then you have a still highly enjoyable vaping option in VG e juice. There are also PG/VG blends that can help to get you the experience of both types of e juice, like the Thunderhead Vapor Drip E Juice made up of 15% PG and 85% VG.

Artisinal Flavored vs Standard E Juices

Once you determine whether PG or VG e juices are best suited to your tastes and needs, the next step is to determine whether or not you are interested in specific artisinal flavors of e juice or you just like the standard vape e juice liquid. Much of this depends on what kind of smoker you were and how adventurous you would like to be with your vaping.

People who smoked flavored tobaccos before vaping may really enjoy unique artisinal flavors like Raspberry Frost or Peach Cobbler E Liquids from Thunderhead Vapor. Menthol and tobacco flavors are also available for traditionalists who prefer standard, tried and true flavors. It may take you some time and a little experimenting to find the exact flavor to suit your needs, but basing your decision on the types of cigarettes you preferred to smoke before you vaped will give you a good idea of where to start.

Now tha you know a few of the different factors to consider when trying to find that perfect e juice or e liquid for you, you can be sure that you narrow your search and find one or several that you love.
